Windows Media Support


Software

To use the Claripoint Playback service, you need to have the Windows Media Player software installed on your machine:

Please determine what operating system your computer is currently running:

For Microsoft Windows XP, click here to install the Windows Media Player 10 Series, or click here to install the Windows Media Player 9 Series.

For Microsoft Windows 98 (Second Edition), ME / Millenium Edition, 2000 or 2003, click here to install the Windows Media Player 9 Series.

For Microsoft Windows 98, click here to install the Windows Media Player 7.1.

For Microsoft Windows 95 or NT 4 , click here to install the Windows Media Player 6.4 .

For Apple Mac OS X, click here to install the Windows Media Player 9 Series.

For Apple Mac OS 8.1 to 9.x, click here to install the Windows Media Player 7.1.

If you use a Netscape v4.x to v6.x browser for Microsoft Windows with the Windows Media Player 9 Series, please install this update.

On Windows machines, select "Open" to run the application or download the file to the desktop and run the application manually.
You may require "Administrator" privileges to install the Java Runtime Environment. If so, please contact your local IT support staff.

On Macintosh machines, run the appropriate extractor software and run the application manually.


Support

Blank Screen:

If you are experience the problem whereby you are able to hear the audio but cannot see the video when viewing a Claripoint Playback, perform the following steps:

     1. Move your mouse over the blank (black) area of the screen where the audio should be.

     2. Right click on the mouse once to bring up the context menu.

     3. Select the 'Options...' item.

     4. In the 'Performance' tab, under 'Hardware Acceleration', move the slider from 'Full' to 'None'.

     5. Close the browser window and open the Claripoint Playback again.
